Park in a Safe Area

If you can continue to drive for a short distance with a flat tire, try to move to a roadside area where you can safely park. Once you turn off the ignition, apply the parking brakes. Loosen the Nuts

Raise the Vehicle

Install the Spare Tire

Insert the spare tire, install the bolts, and hand-tighten them — but not completely. Lower the jack until the spare tire is on the ground before tightening the bolts. Place everything in your trunk and drive away safely.
